While his percussion foundation was built through school ensembles, his experience on the drum set is largely self-taught, fueled by countless hours of practice and pure dedication to the craft. Over the past decade, he’s brought his versatile groove to a range of variety and country bands, always with an ear for what makes people move. Drumming is more than a hobby for Chris—it’s a meditative outlet, a form of personal expression, and a way to connect with others through music.

John is an experienced and passionate guitarist who has played in a variety of bands, ranging from 80s hard rock and metal to country, pop, and dance. He’s honed his skills onstage, adapting to diverse genres and audiences. John brings a mix of energy and precision to every performance, making music that resonates with any crowd.

Jim Beaulieu

Jim brings piano, organ, and synth parts that help round out the Local Legends’ style. With a background in classical music, jazz piano, and years of playing with a variety of groups, he enjoys blending those influences into the band’s mix. From classic rock and R&B to pop favorites across the decades, Jim focuses on adding the color and energy that help the songs feel familiar, fresh, and fun for audiences.

Mark Foley

Mark Foley serves as the rhythmic backbone of Local Legends, playing electric bass with the skill and subtlety of a seasoned pro. With a musical journey that spans over 40 years, Mark draws influence from classic rock, R&B, country, funk, and Americana. He’s performed with multiple bands across Texas and California and brings both reliability and a deep musical vocabulary to every performance. Whether it’s locking in a groove or driving a high-energy set, Mark delivers tone, taste, and time.

Ryann Vargas

No stranger to the stage, Ryann found her love of music and performance in the musical theater world. Singing in many capacities over 30 years - spanning from community theater to All-State competitions, from studying vocal performance to leading worship. Ryann is humbled to stand alongside such incredibly talented musicians. She brings her vocal technique, a quirky sense of humor, and a love of the crowd to every stage.
